Message from the Swampscott Health Department
We were notified by our trash and recycling contractor this morning that today would be their last day of service.
They have notified numerous other municipalities including Marblehead as well.
Unfortunately, there will be no trash or recycling pick-up for tomorrow (9/1) or Friday (9/2).
It is our goal to have service restored after the holiday on Tuesday September 6th.
Please do not place material out at the curb until further notice.
If residents on the Thursday and Friday collection routes would like to drop off their separated recycling you may do so at the following location:
Caraustar Recycling, 53 Jefferson Ave, Salem.
Thurs/Fri from 7am - 3 pm and Saturday from 7am - noon.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
